The Witcher 3 REDkit is a comprehensive modding tool for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is based on the same set of tools that were used by our developers to create the game and should allow for nearly limitless freedom in modding it. REDkit is available free of charge for all owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PC.

This repository is used to track issues with the REDkit. Feel free to contribute with detailed issue reports including repro steps.

• Fixed an issue where scripts would not be compiled on startup under certain conditions.

• Fixed an issue where mods published to Steam Workshop had an incorrect folder structure (it is no longer needed to apply the workaround we posted earlier).

• Added some checks to detect problematic characters in file names.

• Introduced some quality of life improvements for the Asset Browser:

  • better search fields,

  • better grid and tile view options,

  • additional filters.
